These General Terms & Conditions apply to all transactions placed online, by telephone or email
General
Terms and conditions apply to all transactions with Careers Collective. Please read them carefully.
All references to the 'company', 'us' or 'we' refer to Careers Collective. All references to the customer shall mean the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods from the company for themselves or a third party.
All references to the ‘Website’ shall include reference to all URLs owned by Careers Collective.
All contracts are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law, and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.
Data protection
All data submitted when making a booking will be processed in accordance with our website and or our company data policy.
If a booking is made on behalf of a third party, you warrant that you have secured their express consent to their data being used for this purpose and have in place all relevant policies and processes to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
We hold minimal customer details securely: customer name, purchase type, contact details and engagement dates for accountancy and delivery reporting purposes.
We do not sell data to third parties.
We do not use data for promotional purposes unless specific permission has been given.

Prices and specifications
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) exclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated otherwise.
Ownership of products
All IP is owned by Careers Collective.
Careers Collective does not allow the recording of online presentations, workshops, or webinars unless specific permission has been pre-arranged.
All items and their content supplied to the customer remain the property of Careers Collective until sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us. Re-use, sharing, on-selling and reproduction of Careers Collective IP is prohibited.
Education and Training Providers
Course description
Our content is designed to be current and relevant; therefore, elements of courses and online workshops may change in order to remain up to date. We reserve the right to change the course content and/or presenter.
Purchase of a product
Educational organisations, training providers and customers purchasing for a third party must read our Terms and Conditions and engage with Careers Collective via email before purchasing any live event, as is stated on our Website.
Each sale is only for the items described in the contract.
Each sale is unique and the service cannot be used more than once or transferred. Purchases are not redeemable and can not be exchanged.
Careers Collective operates a standard 3-week lead time between payment and delivery of live events.
Payment must be received 21 days before any service is delivered.
Please note that individual contracts may apply, which will override the statements above.
Delivery
Careers Collective cannot take responsibility for factors beyond our control or influence which affect delivery, such as a network fault or extreme weather event.
It is not the responsibility of Careers Collective to ensure that participants attend a live event or remain in attendance throughout.
We have an expectation that our Collaborators will be treated with respect by clients when delivering for Careers Collective and will not be subject to inappropriate language and behaviour, including bullying, intimidation or unprofessional conduct.
Cancellation
Bookings are non-refundable; however, if a cancellation is unavoidable, Careers Collective will find an alternative mutually acceptable day for delivery within three months of the original booking date.
Please note that individual contracts may apply, which will override the statement above.
Cancellations by third-party organisations or individuals will be subject to the same cancellation terms as the Terms and Conditions for Education and Training providers unless a specific contract is in place.
Feedback and complaints
Educational institutions and training providers are provided with an evaluation form for the purposes of review and quality assurance.

Private Clients
Fees
Fees are charged for each session and include preparation before each session, writing session notes, telephone/email access in between sessions and research.
Cancellation
A session fee will be invoiced if a session is cancelled within 24 hours before the arranged session or if a client fails to attend.
Payment of invoices
Invoices will be submitted in advance of the booking. Full payment of invoices is expected within seven (7) days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed contractually with clients.
Confidentiality
The coach will work within the professional ethics and guidelines as described by the EMCC’s Code. All information about the Coach/Client relationship will remain strictly confidential. If you wish for your coach to speak to someone outside our interactions, written permission via email is required.
Professional agreement
Careers Collective agree to uphold appropriate professional liability and public liability insurance for the duration of the provision of our services to the client.

Coaching Relationship
Coaching is a collaborative, solution-focused and results-based process. Throughout the working relationship, the coach will engage in direct, personal and often challenging conversations. The coachee understands that successful coaching requires an active, collaborative approach between the coachee and coach.
The coach plays the role of a facilitator of change, while it is the coachee’s responsibility to enact change.
A coach will:
Be prepared for each coaching session
Come to each coaching session promptly at the agreed time
Maintain complete confidentiality, unless explicit permission to share particular topics with others is given or for clients under 18 years of age, an agreement and any shared information is deemed to be a breach of the child's security and is a safeguarding issue
Be honest and maintain integrity
A coachee will:
Thoughtfully prepare for each coaching session
Come to each coaching session promptly at the agreed time
Seek to complete any between-sessions action steps
Be open and honest in discussions
Travelling time
For travel, the cost depends on the distance involved.
Rates relating to travel will be agreed upon in advance.
We will charge reasonable travel, subsistence and other out-of-pocket expenses incurred.
